Well Told Story are delighted to have been named among the world’s top inspiring social innovations using digital technology for good. UK based Nominet Trust unveiled it’s list in which we feature alongside 11 other social impact African ventures, demonstrating the continent’s rapidly rising prominence in using tech for social change.
Nominet Trust said this year Kenya and South Africa proved particularly strong hubs of social tech innovation within the African continent.
The Nominet Trust 100 celebrates the people and organisations who are using digital technology to change the world for the better. Each year, it brings together 100 of the world’s most inspiring examples of social innovation, where digital technologies have been used to tackle a significant social challenge.
As we continue to develop new digital offerings for the Shujaaz audience, we hope to remain in the good company of the Nominet 100 in years to come.
